I paced the floor once I got home, trying figure out what I should do.
Sure I could file a restraining order, but that was reserved for weak ass men.
I knew I need a solution soon before my lay off led to a future release.
Then, taking me out of my thoughts, my cell phone rang on the countertop. At first, I didn’t recognize the number, and for that reason, almost didn’t answer. She was also calling from several new numbers. I decided to give her a piece of my mind.
“Look bitch!” I growled, answering the call.
“I’m not yo’ bitch!” a voice responded, a very heavy voice like that of a male, he then let out an very loud chuckle.
“Who the hell is this?” I’d asked upset.
“Chill aight! It’s Dolla, my nig.”
“Oh!” I answered. “My bad man.”
“You all good, patna. What’s got you goin’ on?”
I took a deep breath and let it escape, spilling what the ex had put me through.
“Sound like my chick,” Dolla confirmed. “That’s reason that I was locked up that night. The bitch get mad and throw somethin’ at me. Then got the nerve to run in my face. She slip and fall when she halfway there. But her vengeful ass wanna claim assault.”
“And you’re still with her?” I asked in shock.
“Hell naw, man. But I got revenge.”
“How?” I asked.
“You lookin’ for somethin’? I can hook you if you help me out. You’ll just have to do something for me.”
“Something for you?”
“That’s why I called. I was thinkin’ we could do each other a favor.”
I listened with interest. “Aight. What’s the plan?”
“Well….see it’s like this, my nig……”
We talked on the phone for about an hour.
